The sad news is that WATERDOWN are calling it quits.

The good news on the other hand is that they won´t leave without having played

some final shows & they´ll realease their final album "Into The Flames" on March 23d, 2012.

Due to circumstances beyond their control, ELLWOOD have to postpone

their tour dates to late November / early December.

We´re working on the new dates right now. Keep checking here.

We´re shaken to the core about the incredibly tragic events that took place at Pukkelpop Festival

in Hasselt / Belgium yesterday, Thursday, August 18th.

The promoter decided to cancel the complete festival, which is fully understandable after what

happened. You can find an official statement here.

Sincere condolences to everyone who lost a loved one.

JELLO BIAFRA AND THE GUANTANAMO SCHOOL OF MEDICINE tour starts on Thursday!

Since the show in Berlin on July 29th sold out quickly, we´ve decided to move the show 

from Lido to a bigger venue: Astra Kulturhaus. You'll find tickets for Berlin here and here.

JELLO BIAFRA AND THE GUANTANAMO SCHOOL OF MEDICINE

are not going to play the show in Tel Aviv on July 2nd. 

Here is the statement from Jello Biafra:

Dear Friends,

Jello Biafra and the Guantanamo School of Medicine are not going through with the July 2

date in Tel Aviv. This does not mean I or anyone else in the band are endorsing or joining

lockstep with the boycott of all things Israel.

I am going to Israel and Palestine to check things out myself and may yet conclude that

playing for people in the belly of the beast was the right thing to do in the first place.

The toll and stress on the band members and myself has been huge, both logistically and

as a matter of conscience. I can't drag anyone any further into rough waters without being

better prepared than some of us thought we were. A responsible leader does not go,

'Hey, check out the storm at the top of Mount Everest. Let's go up anyway just in case we

don't die.'  Some members are angry with me for this decision, let alone how long it took me.

I don't blame them.

It would have been so easy to quietly pass on the gig out of fear someone might get upset,

and no one would have been the wiser. We could have flown under the radar, left the date

off our tour postings and not bothered with a statement, but how honest is that?

The results are ´Lost in Tansition´, ELLWOOD´s debut on Fat Wreck Chords,

due out on June 21st, 2011.

support the local team - VfB.

Unfortunately we did not hear Bro Hymn again that day,  since the VfB didn´t score.

It´s been a while... so we´re stoked to announce that DESCENDENTS will add to the great

line-up of Groezrock Festival  2011.

We´ll get to see them play amongst a lot of amazing bands, such as NOFX, Boysetsfire,

Millencolin and many more...

We promised you good news and here they are!

We are more than happy to announce a very special show.

BOYSETSFIRE will be playing the Telekom Extreme Playgrounds in Berlin on December 5th.

It will be the only show they will play in 2010.

Read below a statement from the band.

"We were never a normal band. We never did the right things. We never looked cool.

We did everything exactly the way we wanted. Trends weren’t important. Being hip wasn’t

important.

There were only two things that were important and sancrosanct; the friendship between

the five members of this band, and people who we touched with our music.

We were a band for over a decade. We decided that we wanted to try different things with our lives.

So we stopped playing music together. It wasn’t Noel/Liam Gallagher ugly; we parted as friends

and we generally see or talk to each other all the time.

I think we underestimated how much we would miss it. The communion, the intensity,

the genuine outpouring of emotion- it just doesn’t exist for us without BoySetsFire.

So we are going to start playing together again.

All we know now is that BoySetsFire is playing in Berlin on December 5, 2010.

Thank you."

the casting out have decided to take a bit of a break. some of us have decided to move to

different states, and some of us have just decided to move on for a while.

we faced, where just too big for us right now.
