A week ago Wauz - our friend and singer of Red Tape Parade - passed away.

It is hard to find words for it, but his fellow band members in Red Tape Parade phrased it

beautifully and we don´t have much more to add:

"It is hard to write about our friend Wauz.

I am afraid that words won´t do him justice.

How are you supposed to write about such an outstanding person?

Wauz stepped into our lives in 2007 when we approached him about trying out for

Red Tape Parade. He was fairly shy and quiet in the beginning.

But we realized pretty fast that Wauz was an extremely warmhearted and

unbelievably funny person.

I am sure we all could fill pages of all the wonderful, bizarre and hilarious situations

we all found ourselves in with and - most importantly - because of him.

Even when facing and battleing cancer he stayed the kind, independent person he always was.

His sense of humor, his clear vision and his positivity made it easy and very inspiring

for all of us to be around him in the last weeks of his life.

Wauz was a punk in the truest meaning of the word.

Never satisfied with the simple answers.

A sceptic.

Self-determined.

Until the very end.

Wauz left this place in the morning of April 15th, surrounded by his loved ones.

He was a great friend to so many and we were truly blessed that he allowed

us to have him in our lifes.

Wauz - you will be missed.

BOYSETSFIRE will be playing 2 benefit shows for the Jugendcafé Zwiesel

on March 15th and 16th 2013.

The Jugendcafé opened over 28 years ago and has been the place to go for young

people ever since. It is now on the verge of closing.

This can only be prevented if they come up 60.000,00 Euro to buy the club, but they

depend on donations.

Here´s what Josh (guitarist / Boysetsfire) has to say about it: "We know how vital

having a space like the Jugendcafe is; for many it is the difference between life and death.

That is why we are playing two benefits to save this important all ages space.

We hope you join us!"

NOFX Announce 1st TWO EUROPEAN SHOWS to find dates go to  TOURS 

It´s been a while... so we´re stoked to announce that DESCENDENTS will add to the great

line-up of Groezrock Festival  2011.

We´ll get to see them play amongst a lot of amazing bands, such as NOFX, Boysetsfire,

Millencolin and many more...

We promised you good news and here they are!

We are more than happy to announce a very special show.

BOYSETSFIRE will be playing the Telekom Extreme Playgrounds in Berlin on December 5th.

It will be the only show they will play in 2010.

Read below a statement from the band.

"We were never a normal band. We never did the right things. We never looked cool.

We did everything exactly the way we wanted. Trends weren’t important. Being hip wasn’t

important.

There were only two things that were important and sancrosanct; the friendship between

the five members of this band, and people who we touched with our music.

We were a band for over a decade. We decided that we wanted to try different things with our lives.

So we stopped playing music together. It wasn’t Noel/Liam Gallagher ugly; we parted as friends

and we generally see or talk to each other all the time.

I think we underestimated how much we would miss it. The communion, the intensity,

the genuine outpouring of emotion- it just doesn’t exist for us without BoySetsFire.

So we are going to start playing together again.

All we know now is that BoySetsFire is playing in Berlin on December 5, 2010.

Thank you."

You may or may not have heard the news already, but this upcoming THE CASTING OUT tour will

be the final one for now. Here´s what Nathan Gray has to say about it....

"the casting out broke up???

well, sorta. after several years of losing members, gaining members, and losing them again...

the casting out have decided to take a bit of a break. some of us have decided to move to

different states, and some of us have just decided to move on for a while.

thank you all for your support throughout the years, and we apologize that the obstacles

we faced, where just too big for us right now.

(near Marseille) at L´Usine got cancelled because the venue was shut down.
